As I listen to citizens through town hall meetings, emails, and visits to schools and businesses, they share their concerns about our nation's stagnant economy and job losses. They are concerned about government accountability, political bickering, and the legacy of debt we are leaving for our next generation. 

The most important issue we face is stimulating our economy to create jobs. Using my 17 years of experience as a successful small business owner, I have taken the lead within the Small Business Committee to eliminate programs that aren't working to help small businesses create jobs and strengthen the ones that are. But together, we must do more. 

The greatest threat to our nation's security and growing economy is not from outside the United States, but is the mounting debt piled high by decades of reckless out-of-control spending. 

You elected me with the promise that I'd fight for you in Washington, and I'm fighting for you each day. The stakes couldn't be higher for our nation. Together, we can stop reckless spending, stimulate the private sector for job creation, and put our nation back on the path to economic prosperity.
